eggs and sounds!

Teacher: Ms. Andrade NorthFork teacher: Ms. Shattner
Title of lesson: easter eggs sounds like . Date: 4-16-2010

The specific academic objectives for this lesson were to have our students comprehend sounds and how we are able to hear. What makes it capable for us to hear and signal our brain to recognize the sounds.

The objectives were grade level appropriate this time because it was a hands on activity and sounds. they loved it and had a blast with this lesson by cutting and gluing the worksheet and shaking the eggs and being able to recognize the sounds.

The objectives were meet, surprisingly they got each of the 12 different sounds of the eggs correct. they understood how our brain recognizes the sounds and recognition of what was inside the eggs.

The factors that we considered for this is the fact that there kindergartens and is more fun to have a hands activity and it grabbed there attention. And you can tell that they were having a good time and learning.

The content seemed to be very relevant because it was simple and a fun activity for them to do. They were very engaged into the lesson and they all had a turn to take turns and participate.

The strongest moments in our lesson had to be when they were recognizing the sounds of the eggs and cutting and gluing the items inside of the eggs, when they got the eggs sound right they were happy about it.

The areas that we needed to work on would be class room management because i had kids who were misbehaving and the teacher actually had to pull out one student and did not let him participate in the lesson. But all in all the lesson plan was great and the teacher loved the lesson and she said it was great!
